This artwork is a mural in New-York showing Turkish dictatorship and journalist Zehra Doğan in her prison. It also depicts the unfairness of the number of days she was sentenced to jail. We understand that she is imprisoned , (behind bars) because one of the bars she is holding is actually (in fact) a cell. We learnt she was arrested because she painted her beautiful village turned to rubble , completely destroyed after the war. That's why we can see her painting projected on a above the screen. The caption which we can read at the bottom of her piece of art explains and expose Zehra's unfair treatment and cruel situation. Of course Art can be beautiful and relaxing , but it should also help us to see the world in a different light. That's why Banksy's mural is both entertaining and subversive as Banksy wants to fight political issues and struggle for the freedom of expression . He actually aims to raise people's awareness to Zehra's unfair imprisonment and to enable her release from jail. This mural denounces a strong message to the whole world : it's necessary to get of the tyranny of Kurdish.
